"Until 1997 I was a high school teacher of Basque Language and Literature in Vitoria-Gasteiz, a mid-sized and rainy city of the Basque Country. That year, I left my job and started a very long awaited and very little planned bicycle trip. I was 35. Twenty years later I am still on the road, something that I couldn't imagine at all when I set off! I have pedaled more than 200.000 km. through 100 countries on 5 continents.
